Your event invitation is your guests' very first impression, whether it's digitally distributed or sent via old-school snail mail. Regardless, that first visual sets the tone for the RSVP success rate. An invite should also coordinate with the host company's brand and other marketing communications.
Ideally, you will work with your host's marketing team to develop a cohesive and brand-compliant communication strategy. But for those of us who don't have a graphic designer readily available, we're left to our own devices. That's when I lean on Canva.
Canva.com is what I refer to as a "graphic design tool for dummies," and better yet, it's FREE.
You can design coordinated save the dates, invitations, web banners, social media posts, flyers, signage, step-and-repeats ... you name it. And your work is downloadable in any format at no cost, with printing and shipping options at a fair price.
Just don't get stuck in the rabbit hole. Canva is addictive!
