If a report of your attendee demographics shows a strong percentage of labor union representatives and/or elected officials, showing your support of American vendors is critical. While options are slightly limited and at a higher price point, it will go a long way with your audience.
Make sure to order:
1️⃣ Made-in-USA giveaways and swag items
2️⃣ Print collateral and signage from a union-operated shop that adds a "union bug" to their products
Seek out a branded merchandise agency specializing in corporate ID that understands the importance of ordering locally and requiring product samples well in advance of the event. Because, while your vendor might technically be headquartered and assembled in the USA, certain parts of a giveaway item may still be shipped in from overseas, touting a "Made-in-China/Pakistan/etc..." disclaimer on the product.
